Our heart for the families
Families are big on the heart of God! In the Old Testament, God used the families as a platform to reveal Himself and His ways. Parents and grandparents reflect the character and ways of God to their children and grandchildren. It is through the family unit that children are taught about God and His ways. This was the primary platform where discipleship took place.
The family unit today is under and intense attack by the enemy. His goal is to steal, kill and destroy everything that the family is meant to represent - the image of God. As a result, we see society breaking down and the Christian faith not being passed down from one generation to the next.
Our heart as a church is to see the families in our midst thrive and reveal God’s glory to the world - married couples loving and serving each other, parents discipling their children in the ways of God, grandparents inspiring the generations by their faith and actions, and the singles living secure and fruitful lives for God’s kingdom!
Our prayer is that whatever your role is in your family, that God will cause you and your family to thrive. Let’s be intentional to protect and serve our families so that each family can reveal God’s glory to the world!
